Let’s Practice Chaîné Turns


Hi!  Welcome back to my blog.

Are you ready to try chaîné turns?

This is the definition from Vance’s Ballet Dictionary:

“Fast turns on half or full point with the legs in a tight first position, rotating a half turn on one foot and the other half on the other foot. Done one after the other so they’re “chained” together.”

I hope so because here we go…

Be very careful when you practice this step so you don’t get dizzy or run into furniture!

After I practice my turns, I’m going to color this ballet picture.

Ask your mom or dad if you can too.


You will have to print out the picture so ask your parents for help.

Don’t forget to say “please” and “thank you.”
