Hi! Welcome back to my blog.
Today we’re going to review the ballet step called “piqué”.
Here is a definition of this ballet movement from Dance25.com:
“A movement in which the strongly pointed toe of the lifted and extended leg sharply lowers to hit the floor then immediately rebounds upward.”
This is how the movement develops…
To help you understand how to do this step crossing the floor, below is a short video of a young dancer demonstrating this step.
