Here’s a video lesson on how to do the ballet step called “chassé” for us to practice along with this week.
This is the definition of the step from Vance’s Fantastic Ballet Dictionary:
“A gliding step. The working leg slides out; put weight on working leg and draw other leg along floor to it. (In American folk dancing, this word was mispronounced, giving rise to the term “sashay.”)”

After I practice the chassé, I’m going to color the ballet picture below.
Ask your mom or dad to print it out for you. Don’t forget to say “please” and “thank you.”
