Happy Labor Day!

I hope you and your family have a fun Labor Day weekend!

I found a Labor Day picture for us to color:

Ask your mom or day to print it out for you.

I know you remembered to say “please” and “thank you!”

Please come back next week.  We’ll learn more ballet steps and exercises.

I hope you’ll come back next week.

Let’s Review!

Hi!  Welcome back to my blog.

I found a book I think you might like.

It is the story of a famous ballerina, Maria Taglioni.

This video will help us to review many of the terms and movements we learned before.

If you would like to read the definition of these movements, go to Vance’s Ballet Dictionary: http://www.theatredance.com/balletterm1.html

It is a very helpful website.

After I’ve practiced these ballet steps, I’m going to color a picture.

Ask your mom or dad to print it out for you.

I know you remembered to say “please” and “thank you”.

You can subscribe to this blog if you’d like.  Ask your mom or dad to help you fill out the form in the upper right hand column.

I hope you’ll come back next week when we’ll learn more ballet steps.

See you then!

Stretches at the Barre

 Hi!  Welcome to my blog.

I’m glad you came to see me.

Today we’re going to practice leg stretches at the barre.

Be very careful when you try these stretches!

Your mom or dad should be with you when you practice the stretches so you don’t fall over backwards or pull a muscle.

After I practice my stretches, I’m going to color the ballet picture I found.

Ask your mom or dad if you can too.

Don’t forget to say “please” and “thank you”.

I hope you’ll come back next week when we’ll practice more ballet.

See you then!

If you’d like to receive the posts in this blog right in your email inbox, please fill in the form at the top of the right-hand column.  Ask your mom or dad to help you with it (don’t forget “please” and “thank you”).
