Let’s Practice the Sauté

Hi!  Welcome back to my blog.

Today we’re going to learn how to do a sauté.

Below is a drawing of a dancer performing a sauté.

Vance’s Ballet Dictionary defines saute as a leap and as one of Noverre’s Seven Movements.

Now you try it.

After I practice the sauté, I’m going to color the ballet picture I found.

Ask your mom or dad to print it out for you.  Don’t forget to say “please” and “thank you”.

Please come back next week.  We’ll learn more ballet steps then.

You can subscribe to my blog if you’d like and your mom and dad say it’s okay.  Just click on the “subscribe” button in the right-hand column near the top of the page and fill out the form.  You’ll get each new blog post right in your email inbox.

xoxoxo,
